Galloway Dishonestly Denies Support for Ahmadinejad

The
link provided demonstrates how Galloway unequivocally lies as he responds to a pertinent question on supporting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his presentation at London School of Economics on 7th March, 2011. He also presented at SOAS University on Friday 11 March, 2011 in an event titled "Solidarity with Middle East revolution - with GEORGE GALLOWAY at SOAS".

Galloway has been known to support the Palestinian cause, but has also gone on to support the repressive, oppressive and tyrannous government of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He works for the IRI owned and funded 'Press TV', whose London UK offices are found in Hanger Lane. He receives a comfortable salary from the IRI for his services rendered under his contract of employment with 'Press TV'. Note in the footage how Galloway lies that 'Press TV' is owned by the British Broadcasting Company...

Watch the link in full to contrast his lies with the truth where not only does he explicitly support Ahmadinejad, he also gives a speech at Congress in Iran. Let's hope his promise to pay our friend £1000, which was and will further be witnessed by many, will be honoured; although such an unscrupulous individual would not know the first thing about 'honour', let alone honour a promise.

The pertinent question was posed by head of the 'European Confederation of Iranian Students' (Note. not to be confused with the separate organization of the 'Confederation of Iranian Students').

  1. You write "Galloway has been known to support the Palestinian cause, but has also gone on to support the repressive, oppressive and tyrannous government of the Islamic Republic of Iran," as if contrasting G's (negative) support for the IR (Islamist Regime) with his (positive) support for Hamas.

How is Hamas any different from the IR? In what way is the IR any worse than Hamas? What goals does the "Palestinian movement" have other than a very direct application of the IR's goals: destruction of the evil secular influence of the Jewish state; murder of anyone who dares put forward views independent of the various forms of Islamism of Hamas or, in its area, of Fatah? The current Palestinian movement was created by the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas is their official Palestinian branch, and Fatah was organized by followers of Hajj Amin al Husseini, who was the head of the Brotherhood in Palestine in his day. The Brotherhood is allied with the IR.

  2. Jared, that's not what I meant.

This post is more concerned with Galloway's treacherous support for the IRI and his attempts to conceal it than whether one is correct for supporting Zionism or Hamas.

  3. A) You surprise me, Mehrtash. I didn't mention supporting "zionism," so why do you bring it up in responding to me? Are the choices in the world either to be a zionist or to support islamic clerical fascism (the Brotherhood, Hamas, the IR)?

    B) I didn't introduce the issue of Hamas, you did; I responded to the way you framed Galloway's support for Hamas. It sounded like you were saying: he supports the Palestinians, which is one thing, but he also does something bad -- supporting Ahmadinjead. I was pointing out that the two positions are politically identical. Both constitute support for clerical fascism. Do you disagree?

Regarding Galloway, the interesting question is WHY he now claims he never supported Ahmadinejad or Hamas or the system in Iran (he says all three in the video.) Why is he lying?

  4. If you read this blog post you will find that I did not mention 'Hamas', they were first mentioned by yourself.

What I stated is a matter of fact, he supports the Palestinian cause, be that in whatever form you or others perceive that to be - support for Hamas, or the regular Palestinian people who suffer human rights violations.

Are you suggesting that Palestinian people do not have the right to support? Why is it acceptable for Israel to benefit from support but not Palestinians? Furthermore, why must it be black and white where Palestinians are associated with Hamas, when there are many Palestinians who do not support Hamas?

I think that you have mixed the two distinct subjects together. As for why Galloway lies, it's another indication of his weak and desperate character.

  5. Yes, it is true you avoided mentioning Hamas by name; more's the pity. You wrote "Galloway has been known to support the Palestinian cause." The record of Galloway's position on Arab's in the disputed territories is as clear as his position on the IR: he supports Hamas. So in the REAL WORLD you were saying "Galloway has been known to support the Hamas cause" while substituting the pleasant word "Palestinian" for the accurate word "Hamas."

"Support" for Palestinians could mean all sorts of things -- but HIS support means only one: he has actively supported the Hamas regime in Gaza which has fired over 6,000 rockets into Israel exactly as strongly as he has supported the IR.

As for Palestinians deserving support -- they do indeed. They need it desperately. They are controlled by two clerical fascist forces -- Hamas and Fatah, both of them historically rooted in the Muslim Brotherhood and the Nazis --in exactly the same way Iranians are controlled by the IR. If Arabs under Fatah or Hamas speak out against terror, they are summarily executed as collaborators. If they advocate non-Islamic states, same punishments. The link between the Arab fascists that dominate Palestinian politics and the IR is made especially clear because those fascists from Hamas and probably Fatah provided many of the killers who suppressed the democracy movement in 2009-2010.

Supporting Palestinian Arabs requires fighting the fascist parasites that dominate them, just as supporting Iranians requires fighting the IR apparatus, and just as supporting the majority of Egyptians requires fighting the Islamists who have been foisted upon them now by the West.
